It was established under the technical department of the Indian Army and Defense Science. SET (Scientist Entry Test)
This DRDO exam is conducted in two stages, in which first you have to give return exam. And after that the interview takes place. The marks obtained by you in DRDO are not carried forward. Rather it is used for screening the candidates in the interview. In this, the final selection depends on the interview, how is the performance of the candidate, if you give your interview well then your selection will be done.
This exam is of 3 hours in which 150 objective type questions of 500 marks are asked.
Section A consists of 100 marks of 4 marks out of 400 marks as per BE, B.Tech, M.sc syllabus.
In section B, 50 questions of 2 marks are asked which are of total 100 marks, in which you are asked questions from topics related to Logical Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Concept Formation, Spatial Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning.

- To apply, all the candidates must have a degree in engineering and technology from a university institution.
- Candidate must have a degree in Science with Maths, Psychology with more than 60% marks

DRDO MTS Recruitment 2022
The candidates who want to apply for the MTS exam, they should first know the eligibility for this, for MTS you should be 10th pass from the recognition board or you should have ITI qualification in any trade.
Salary: In this you will get 1 month salary from 18 thousand to 56 thousand.
Age Limit for DRDO MTS Recruitment –
Candidates between the age group of 18 years to 25 years can apply for MTS.
The candidates belonging to the reserved category will be given age relaxation as per the instructions of the government.
Age relaxation will be given by three years for OBC category, five years for SC/ST category and 10 years for persons with disabilities.
DRDO Recruitment 2022 Selection Process –
You will have to give the MTS paper online only i.e. you will be selected eligible applicants through computer based test. Its examination will be conducted in 2 tiers. If you have cleared the first tier exam then you will be called for the second tier exam. You will be asked 100 questions in
Tier 1 exam . Which will be of total 100 marks and these questions will also be asked in multiple choice. Questions will be asked from three parts in the question paper –
1 – 35 questions will be asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability in the first part.
2 – In the second part 30 questions will be asked from General Awareness.
In the third part, you will be asked 35 questions from Quantitative Aptitude and Numerical Ability.
And you will be given 90 minutes to solve all these questions.
For Tier-II examYou will be asked 100 questions. Which will be of 100 marks. Under this, 40 questions will be asked from General Science, 40 from General Maths and 20 questions from General English.
In Tier 2 also you will be given 90 minutes. And there will be no negative marking in this exam also. All questions will be asked in English and Hindi.
Selection List Final selection list will be prepared only after your Tier 2 exam.
Application Fee – You will have to pay the fee through online mode only, for this you can pay the application fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking. Women, SC ST category and differently abled candidates will get relaxation in the application fee.
