Apple Could Launch M2 Pro/Max MacBook Pro Amid 2023 & Spring 2023 [Now]

Hello guys welcome to mskearnings.com today in this article we are talking about Apple Could Launch M2 Pro/Max MacBook Pro Amid 2023  & Spring 2023  . Apple recently introduced two new laptop models at the WWDC 2023  — MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, both of which come powered by the latest Apple Silicon M2 processor.
Apple’s Upcoming M2 Pro Chip for High-End MacBook Pro and Mac Mini Will Reportedly Be 3nm. TSMC will manufacture Apple’s upcoming “M2 Pro” and “M3” chips based on its 3nm process, according to Taiwanese industry publication DigiTimes.

Apple is working on MacBook Pro with the latest M2 chip’s Pro and Max variant, and a reliable source has detailed some significant details for its launch timeline.
This information comes from the latest edition of the Powerup newsletter from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman that arrives every Sunday evening.

As per the latest report from Ming-Chi Kuo, the technology giant could launch a new 15-inch MacBook powered by the M2 processor and the unannounced M2 Pro processor. The laptop is expected to go official sometime next year, i.e. in 2023.
The new 15-inch MacBook powered by an M2 chip could come dual-port 35W power adapter while configurations with the M2 Pro processor might come with a more powerful 67W adapter. These power adapters are already options for the new M2-powered MacBook Air launching next month.
Recently, there were reports about a new 12-inch MacBook but Kuo says that he has not heard anything about this. Previously, it was reported that Apple is planning to launch a new 12-inch MacBook at the end of 2023 or in early 2024.
The reported 2023 15-inch MacBook would be Apple’s first MacBook of that size in a non-Pro model. Apple discontinued the 15-inch MacBook Pro in 2019, replacing it with a 16-inch version.

In my view, there is no chance that these MacBooks will launch in the fall of this year because some other big products such as the iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8, and Rugged Edition Watch are already in line to get launched this fall.
There are also some issues in the supply chain, and the regular M2 MacBooks also want time to get acquainted with the market.
Simply, Apple would launch these more powerful MacBooks before the WWDC event of 2023, and we can also see its launch in the early months of 2023 along with Apple’s in-development AR/VR headset.
Apple is said to refresh the lineup later this year with new MacBook Pro machines. The company will launch 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.
While not much about the M2 Pro is known, Gurman previously claimed that the M2 Max will come with 12-core CPU and 38-core GPU.
Besides launch details, the M2 chip will surely be more powerful than the M2 chip that Apple introduced in 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Like the M2 chip, the M2 Pro will be focused on the graphic segment.

The benchmarks of the M2 chip in the MacBook Pro show its single-core performance is around 11.56% faster than the M1 chip, while multi-core performance is up by about 19.45%.
The M1 chip also includes some features that only existed on the higher-end processors of the M1 family, such as increased performance in 4K video encoding and decoding, and support for faster LP5 memory.
In this case, Gurman believes the M2 Pro and M2 Max Macs will focus on the graphics side, which could be great for professional users who need to perform more demanding tasks with video editing, coding, and more.

Its design will probably be similar to the MacBook Pro, but we can see a few differences in design. And as the earlier report said, it would have more ports, a MagSafe charger, a more refined display, and an improved webcam.

Apple Could Launch M2 Pro/Max MacBook Pro Amid 2023  & Spring 2023  ( FAQs )

When can I expect Apple M2?
Apple in June 2023  unveiled the M2, its next-generation Apple silicon chip that follows the M1 chip. This guide highlights everything you need to know about the M2 chip, from performance improvements to extra features.
Is M2 better than M1 Apple?
The name of the M2 chip can be confusing: It’s faster than the M1, but it’s not more powerful than the M1 Pro or M1 Max in the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro. And it’s more limited than those chips. You can add only one external monitor, for example, as opposed to two with the M1 Pro or four with the M1 Max.
Is the M2 chip worth the wait?
The M2 processor is only roughly 20% more powerful than the M1. So, despite being newer, it will not outperform the M1 Pro or M1 Max. Additionally, the M2 will only be offered in the 13″ MacBooks (for now), so you’d have to go with an M1 Pro or M1 Max model if you want a larger screen.
Is M1 better than i7?
As we can see, Apple M1 appears to be a stiff competition to Intel’s latest Core i7 processor. And by standardized benchmarks, it definitely wins the Apple M1 chip vs Intel i7 rivalry. Besides, extended battery life and a lower cost make the M1 chip more appealing for most Apple fans
